25 Years of INIT
For 25 years now, INIT has devoted itself to advancing the future of mobility. On April 4, 2008 INIT celebrated this occasion with an international colloquium in Karlsruhe which was attended by more than 200 public transportation experts from around the world. Chief among them the former German Environment Minister and former Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer, and the Secretary General of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), Hans Rat. A grand evening gala rounded off the festivities and delighted the guests with an interactive evening program.
